Terms applicable to Personal French Teacher AI licences purchased online.
1. Scope
These terms apply to distance sales of Personal French Teacher AI software and digital content. Customers must read them before ordering. The version accepted at checkout prevails.
2. Offers and public prices
Current production-ready software offers: PFT Readiness / Mastery Alliance Signature: €3,990; PFT Readiness / Mastery Alliance Prestige: €5,000. Standalone specialist-agent editions are not part of the current validated commercial release and remain unavailable until separately validated.
A temporary discount applies only when shown in Lemon Squeezy checkout before payment. Final taxes and currency are confirmed at checkout.
3. Payment and merchant of record
Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record/authorised reseller for the transaction, collecting payment and applicable taxes and issuing the receipt. This website does not collect or retain card details.
4. Digital delivery and activation
After payment confirmation, file access and the licence key are delivered electronically. Internet is required for first activation and initial download of required local components. For a non-expiring licence, no mandatory periodic revalidation is required for the Quantum Excellium Core local runtime, subject to each product’s stated features.
5. Licence
The licence is individual, non-exclusive, non-transferable and permanent for the purchased major version. The activation limit applicable to the purchased variant is displayed at checkout and enforced by the licence service. Resale, redistribution, public availability, key sharing, unlawful reverse engineering and creation of a competing product from the files are prohibited.
6. Requirements and operating modes
Hardware and software requirements appear on each product page. Ollama and Whisper are optional local installations. Business French AI uses typed input and does not include a voice module in this edition. Any BYOK key belongs to the customer and is governed by the chosen provider’s terms.
7. Separate human services
The standard Lemon software licence includes no human review, consulting service or expert-signed validation. A human service may be offered separately under a distinct agreement; it then concerns language performance and is neither an official diploma nor regulated professional advice.
8. Withdrawal right and immediate access
Consumers generally have a statutory fourteen-day withdrawal period. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that right may end when performance begins before the period expires, after the consumer’s prior express consent and express acknowledgement that the withdrawal right will be lost. Immediate access must therefore be supplied only after both confirmations are collected at checkout and confirmed on a durable medium.
If valid consent is not collected, statutory consumer rights remain applicable. Requests may be sent to catherine@personalfrenchteacher.com with the order details.
9. Guarantees, support and updates
Mandatory legal guarantees for digital content and services remain applicable. Maintenance fixes for the purchased major version may be supplied; future major versions are not included unless expressly stated. Support covers installation, activation and reproducible faults.
10. Educational and professional boundaries
Products teach specialist French through professional simulations; they do not teach the professions themselves. Codex Medicus provides no diagnosis, treatment, prescription, triage, treatment protocol or clinical decision support; Sky French AI does not replace aviation safety training, qualifications or procedures; Business French AI provides no legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Medicus users must never enter identifiable patient data. Scores and private attestations do not guarantee exam success or official professional competence.
11. Liability
Customers remain responsible for their equipment, backups, BYOK keys and use of outputs. No limitation applies where prohibited by law, including personal injury, gross fault or mandatory consumer rights.
12. Complaints and mediation
Prior complaint: catherine@personalfrenchteacher.com. If unresolved, consumers may use the mediator identified in the legal notice free of charge. The mediator must be appointed before payments open.
13. Applicable law
French law applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections in the customer’s country of residence.
